Why We're Here

Word of Life Camps believe in a strong 'stage' ministry and a personalized counseling ministry to have maximum impact in the lives of teens. We're not only purposeful in what we present to our campers in the course of 7 days, but also how and when we do it.

Each camp counselor is hand-picked from hundreds of college age students -- students who have demonstrated spiritual maturity and a heartbeat for America's youth. Counselors spend all of their time with their campers, looking to 'mentor' toward Christlikeness.

Our stage ministry focuses first on the need of every one of us: salvation by faith alone in Christ alone. Then, we begin to focus in on the needs of today's youth: purity, God's will, decision making, personal dedication and courage to share their faith.
